Collection Manager is designed to streamline workflows. For Acquisitions personnel, this means being able to create Customized Templates and data defaults to automatically fill-in recurring data, and to display work screens for the most efficient use. We’ve also made the importing and exporting of order data to and from your integrated library system easy to accomplish with a minimum of keystrokes.
Incoming orders from selectors can be automatically sorted and accessed by fund, location, requestor, request status (i.e. rush orders), or date range. Already placed orders can be reviewed in Collection Manager by order status, type of service (i.e. approval, standing order, etc.), PO number, invoice number, or invoice date. Quick-Click options allow you to design and run reports to help you manage your orders without having to make requests to your Blackwell Customer Service team.
Collection Manager’s efficient order management capabilities save you precious time throughout the entire acquisitions process.

We are pleased to announce the beginning of a program that brings reviews, into Collection Manager. We begin the program in early October with three review sources, CHOICE, Library Journal, and Publisher’s Weekly but will add others over the next months and years.
