Blackwell series database includes more than 200,000 series records with over 90,000 active series for titles published or distributed worldwide. We supply a wide variety of series publications:

Entries are added or revised in response to the receipt of a book, as well as new information received from publishers and authoritative bibliographic sources. All standing order entries are prepared in the format prescribed by the Anglo-American Cataloguing Rules (AACR2).

Up-to-Date Status Reports

Daily contact with publishers enables Blackwell to immediately inform you of bibliographic and publication changes regarding your standing orders, such as title changes and revised due dates. Our system also allows us to monitor receipts, frequency, and publication history for each series. This ensures that you will always receive new volumes or status reports in a timely fashion. For your convenience, we maintain records on discontinued series and will notify you of reactivated titles as well.

Simple Transfers of Existing Orders

Blackwell makes it easy to transfer your standing orders, whether they are direct with publishers or through another bookseller. Simply provide us with a list of the standing orders, including order number, title, publisher, source (if other than publisher), start volume, and quantity along with a library cancellation notice on your letterhead with an authorized signature. We will handle the rest.
